Cheap knock-off

I bought this thinking it was the OEM replacement mount and suction cups from Escort. I have a 9500xi and needed another mount for a second car and new suction cups for my first car's mount. This mount though was not from Escort, but is clearly a cheap knock-off. The bracket is slightly larger, but still fits on the radar detector. The suction cups though were larger than the OEM ones, so they will not work with your original windshield mount. The suction cups were also cheap looking and were all slightly curled and deformed. I returned this item; wouldn't trust my 9500xi to hang from this pile. Do yourself a favor, avoid this piece and spend the extra $5 on shipping to buy the real deal from Escort direct.

Escort Window Mounting Bracket

Its OK. It holds the device to the window well but doesn't get flush to the windshield causing it to bounce on against the glass when you hit a bump in the road.

love love love

I purchaced this to put in one of our vehicles so we wouldnt have to re-suction every time we swapped vehicles, I fell in love with it and ended up replacing all of our old brackets. The original brackets that come with the radar over time started warping backwards and eventually stop sucking, this one has a bigger suction cup that wont fit on an original bracket, and the cups seem to be made of a thicker rubber, so I'm assuming they'll last longer.
